Guided tour of the exhibition and the contemporary South-East Asian art collections, followed by a cocktail

The gallery Arnaud Lebecq presents in Paris, DOUBLE NATURE, a group exhibition of Florian Song Nguyen and Avishek Sen, of French-Vietnamese and Indian origin respectively.

Each artist questions, in his or her own way, the symbolic value of man's ties to nature.

Florian Song Nguyen's black ink work on plants and insects takes us into a meeting between ancient mythologies and new narratives.

Avishek Sen, through his colourful, highly suggestive watercolours and their evocative titles, seeks to reframe this dialogue between nature and man, characterised by his thirst for domination.

The atmosphere deployed by this exhibition attempts to communicate with the deep intimacy of the spectator and his or her relationship with the living.
