From the cultural profusion of the Edo period to the revival spurred by the development of Western taste for Japanese prints, discover the evolution of this art form between the 17th and 20th centuries with a guided tour of the exhibition “Reflections of Japan at the turning point of modernity. Ukiyo-e and Shin Hanga prints from the Paul Tavernier Bequest”, led by Justine Claude.
With: Justine Claude, a graduate of the Ecole de la Recherche of Sciences Po Paris and of IESA Arts&Culture, is currently an exhibition assistant at the Musée Cernuschi, Museum of Asian arts of Paris, and worked with Eric Lefebvre, the museum's director, on the exhibition.
