Guided Tour: Asian Arts - Sotheby’s

Sotheby’s Arts d’Asie sale will feature a great variety of ceramics, sculpture and works of art from China, South East Asia and the Himalayas. Amongst them, several important jade sculptures of the Qianlong reign (1736-1795), monochrome porcelains from the Yongzheng period (1723-1735), as well a few great examples of Buddhist statuaries from China, India, South-East Asia and the Himalayas, all from various French and other European private collections.

Christian Bouvet joined Sotheby's Olympia Chinese and Japanese department in London in 2003 before transferring to Paris to head up the Asian Art sales from 2007 to 2011. Christian moved to Hong Kong in 2012 where he launched and led the mid-season Chinese Art sales.
