Carlo Cristi specializes in the arts of India, Nepal, Tibet and Central Asia becoming passionate of those arts living in India and the Himalayan regions since 1973
He opened a gallery in Milan in 1984 and successively in Brussels in 2012, as well directing the Fair Asian Arts in Brussels.
From 1998 has participated to major fairs like Asia Week New York, Asian Art in London, Asian Art in Brussels, Fine Art Asia Hong Kong, offering to Museums and private collectors high quality works of art.
Dedicated to sculptures, paintings, early textiles, Carlo Cristi has helped to build collections, establishing lasting relations with collectors and Museums.

Fine sculpture representing the enlightenment of Sakyamuni Buddha. Similar images, from the same artist and workshop, are located at the British Museum (UK) and at Norton Simon Museum (USA).
Images as this, which the Tibetans brought to their country, influenced the production of sculptures developed from Indian models.
