emmy art + is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2021 and located in Ginza, Tokyo. The gallery is primarily dedicated to Japanese contemporary art, while maintaining an open programme that also includes modern art, craftsmanship, Asian antiques, and works by international artists.
Through its exhibitions and collaborative projects, emmy art + seeks to foster a dialogue between contemporary artistic practices and cultural traditions. The gallery supports artists whose work explores materiality, form, and the spiritual dimensions of art.
By encouraging exchanges between artists, collectors, and institutions on an international scale, emmy art + aims to offer new perspectives on Japanese art within a global context. This approach is notably developed through a close collaboration with its partner, CKG Fine Art, which plays a key role in the conception and support of its projects.
As part of the 9th edition of Printemps Asiatique Paris, emmy art + will present the exhibition Chemin II – Là où naît le vent by Komei Tanaka, from May 28 to June 13.
Organised by emmy art + (Tokyo) in collaboration with CKG Fine Art Tokyo, this solo exhibition of the Japanese sculptor will showcase his contemporary wooden works and will be held at Galerie Boquet in Paris.
