Since 2010, at the heart of the Serpette Market at the Paris Saint-Ouen Flea Market, Galerie Vanessa Rau has presented a refined selection of objects from Japan, bringing together antiques and modern creations. Craft objects, antique furniture, paintings, and works of art form an eclectic ensemble, where each piece is chosen for its uniqueness and quality.
The gallery promotes an open vision of Japanese culture, free from historical or stylistic boundaries, and explores its many facets with both rigor and sensitivity. Guided by instinct and passion, it selects works it supports and presents with conviction.
This space dedicated to Japan highlights a culture that, over time, has preserved, adapted, and elevated its craftsmanship with remarkable continuity.
