GALERIE CHARPENTIER

MBA Fine Arts

Japanese ceramics, 1960-1990

88 Bd de Ménilmontant, 75020 Paris, France

By appointment

MBA Fine Arts is dedicated to exploring the field of 20th-century Japanese ceramics and to fostering a deeper understanding of this rich domain of creation, experimentation, and tradition. All works presented come from private collections and dealers in Japan and are available to view by appointment in Paris.

Born from a curiosity for works that are both powerful and complex, the gallery seeks to open this field to a wider audience by presenting pieces by both established and lesser-known ceramicists, reflecting a century of innovation in the medium.

Far from being mere utilitarian objects, these works are conceived as true sculptures, shaped by an acute sensitivity to material and a deeply artistic approach to form and gesture.

On the occasion of the 9th edition of Printemps Asiatique Paris, and for its first participation in the event, MBA Fine Arts will present at the Galerie Charpentier the exhibition Jinnai Sakata – From Ashes To Ashes.
