SANYU, the Line at Work
15 February - 15 june 2025

The exhibition highlights the work of Sanyu, one of the most important Chinese painters of the 20th century. It features 113 ink drawings, engravings, and oil paintings , most of which have never been seen before, and offers a dialogue with works by Picasso, Matisse, and Foujita. This is the first exhibition on Sanyu in France in 21 years, offering a unique opportunity to rediscover this major artist.

Bao Vuong, Behind the Waves

Bao Vuong was born in 1978 in Vietnam, after the end of the war. In 1979, when he was still an infant, his family fled the country by boat, like thousands of other boat people. This sea voyage, marked by wandering and uncertainty, left an indelible mark on his family history.

Opening hours:
Wednesday to Monday, 10am to 5pm from 1 September to 30 June.
Wednesday to Monday, 10am to 6pm from 1 July to 31 August.
Closed on Tuesdays, 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
