Specialising in Chinese export porcelain of the East India Companies and Japanese export porcelain, Galerie Nicolas Fournery presents rare and high-quality pieces selected for their provenance, historical significance, and presence in major public and private collections.
A graduate of the École du Louvre and the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Nicolas Fournery founded his gallery in 2016 after several experiences in the art world. He advises collectors and connoisseurs in their acquisitions and regularly collaborates with auction houses such as Bonhams, Coutau-Bégarie and Leducq.
Committed to research and the dissemination of knowledge, the gallery notably contributed in 2024 to the funding of the Dresden Porcelain Project, dedicated to the study and online publication of the Dresden collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain.
In March 2025, the gallery was selected by TEFAF, the internationally renowned fair that each year promotes ten emerging galleries. In March 2026, it will join the main section of TEFAF, further affirming its international recognition.
