Pair of altar candlestick vases in beige porcelain stoneware, baluster-shaped with molded decoration in low relief depicting large dragons in pursuit of the sacred pearl, surmounting dedicatory inscriptions in Nôm, framed by clouds and scrolling foliage painted in underglaze blue. The openwork handles feature stylized phoenix motifs.
A similar pair, without inscriptions, is held in the collection of the Guimet - National Museum of Asian Arts
