Yann Ferrandin is a renowned French dealer who has specialised since 1994 in the field of early arts from Africa, Oceania and North America. The author of numerous monographs and catalogues, he is a member of the Compagnie Nationale des Experts (CNE) and the Syndicat National des Antiquaires (SNA).
Together with his wife, Kaoruko Takenobu, he has long cultivated a deep interest in the arts of Japan, with a particular focus on early Buddhist and Shinto sculpture, Noh and Kyōgen theatre masks, and objects associated with the tea ceremony and ikebana. They naturally share their expertise and perspective, developing this field of study together.
The gallery is located in a spacious venue at 33 rue de Seine in Paris, working with private collectors and museum institutions worldwide. It regularly participates in major international art fairs, including TEFAF Maastricht, FAB Paris, Parcours des Mondes in Paris, and BRAFA Brussels.
